  • Field School Program – Explore career pathways in conservation and guiding, with tailored advice from experts.

  • Legacy Bosroete Apprenticeship – The Legacy Bosroete Apprenticeship is a practical work-placement year designed for students who have completed their theory and now need real industry experience.

Legacy Bosroete Year

The Legacy Bosroete is an 11-month, work-integrated apprenticeship that takes young people out of the classroom and into real South African wildlife, conservation, ranching and lodge environments. Students gain hands-on experience across multiple farms, lodges and wildlife operations, building a CV backed by real skills, professional references and industry exposure. This is learning earned through action — not just theory.

Students split their time between:

  • Online Theoretical Coursework
  • Practical First-Hand Experience

This program allows participants to immerse themselves in the African bush while developing transferable skills for future careers or studies.

Legacy Bosroete Apprenticeship

The Legacy Bosroete Apprenticeship provides practical work placements for students who have already completed their theoretical studies.

Apprentices engage in:

  • Daily ranch operations
  • Conservation tasks
  • Animal management
  • Field logistics
  • Eco-tourism activities under professional mentors

Graduates leave with proven workplace experience, signed-off competencies and the ability to contribute meaningfully to wildlife operations.
